about

"Cloudyhead is first and foremost the channeling of my mind, thoughts and emotions. At 20 years old, I'm sure you can imagine the multifariousness of these feelings.

Abstraction is a statement of optimism and is a substantiation of those strong emotions: love, anger, peace, restlessness, fear, joy, pity, friendship, envy, anticipation, happiness. Especially happiness. The music ebbs and flows as the tides from sensation to sensation, much like the ever so brief life we're given. However, Abstraction always pivots on happiness. Each song drives itself to a better place, a warmer place. In that sense, as much as music tends to be a source for reflection to draw from the past, Abstraction is fundamentally rooted in the future. It's written as a reminder. It's so easy to see the dark, the dreary and the desolate in the world. I want to remind you to find the beauty in all things; find beauty in nature, free-thought, humankind and above all yourself.

'You are marvelous, and the gods wait to delight in you.'

Please enjoy Abstraction. Never forget to smile."
